More seriously, I could not find where ERT is defined in our
documentation (it is used without explanation, though). There are a
couple of mentions of Evil Red Text in Additional.lyx, but they assume
that the user know what it is.
When I need to create a vector graphic I write it in PSTricks because I
find
it frustrating to make fine adjustments in GUI tools such as Dia.
I may be in the minority on this issue.
I do things like that too. But people should be aware that LyX have no
idea of what they do in there. It is in unsupported zone.
