Math symbols - slightly OT

Hi :)

In my LyX document, I need a math symbol that means "equals, by
definition", which should look like a normal equals (=) sign, with
"def" in small letters above the upper bar. 

Is there a built-in symbol that looks like this, or does anyone know of a
suitable macro?
