- Open mu tables-test.lyx doc - Enter the cursor in the table cell containing the math expression a+b, but keep it outside the math inset - Open the context menu (right mouse or touchpad button) - Go to settings - Apply your changes ( i have set default additional space to 'top of row') - You Will notice that the 'apply' button stays inactive, gray out. - as you close and reopen the settings pane, you find that your changes have not been applied
