spacing

Hi,

I have a document in report, koma-script that is double space.

1. I insert the references but it leaves alot of space between the title
"REFERENCES" and the first ref. item. Can I decrease this space?
2. The reference entries need to be single space while the document should
remain as double space.

Any idea how I can fix this?

ps: I am using the IEEE ref. style file for lyx in my referencing. You think
I need to modify the style file to change the spacing in referencing?
