1.1.6 can read 1.1.5 files, but going back can be a problem,
especially if you use tables.

They should. There may be small modifications to apply to the layout
files, but I cannot tell you which one right now.
Note however, that 1.1.6 may not be suitable for you if you are heavy
table users. The code there is new and is known to have problems.
