See the file MWE3.lyx.
Compile it (ctrl-R): it shows in the pdf correctly this:
[cid:c9f1d98b-e3d6-445a-b69c-2aeb341e05f8]
Then, without saving, change the point value for question 2 to 5:
[cid:ec10634c-ad11-4187-bbb7-e1d65a0403e7]
Ctrl-R shows the same (= wrong) total of points (= 3,5 P) in the output, same
as the first screenshot. It should be 7,5 P
Then add a space behind "Question 2":
[cid:078504af-aefa-4e10-9f9f-11c219df1d25]
Ctrl-R shows the correct heading now:
[cid:946f4021-c328-4fcc-af01-c1d18a9809d8]
Then, add an extra page with lines at the end of the exam:
[cid:cbfcc55a-9f9d-4353-a23b-72ef72bc9f83]
Ctrl-R shows an extra page, but the total number of pages is wrong:
[cid:76c55144-b6f7-4cba-a813-533f5814cde4]
Again, adding some space at the end of some line repairs this behaviour.

Hope this is clear. If not, I'll make a video to demonstrate the behaviour?
Thanks for your time.
Stef

This may be solvable. Can you please post a simple example file (respond
to lyx-users) and instructions for how to reproduce the problem?

Thanks,
Scott
