Yes, via cross references settings. Just select the respective
reference type.
On the other hand, if you want to use varioref and work around the
captions bug, you can add to Document > Settings > Local Layout:
Provides varioref 1
and then to the preamble:
\providecommand\extrasenglish{}
\usepackage{varioref}
