This example shows that a newline is necessary, after a section (subsection, etc) title, to set a newline to avoid that the
equation be turned into the section title.
Actually, this newline is set automatically.
This does not happen with text with are in standard mode without extra newline.
I never noticed this behavior in the previous versions.

I'm still not entirely sure I understand what the issue is. But the displayed equation that follows the subsection title is part of that title. That's normal and correct. Imagine that you wanted to have a displayed equation as part of the title. Shouldn't you be able to do that?

Sure

How else would you do it? If you put the cursor after the displayed equation and type something, you'll see that you're still in the subsection environment.

So if you want the very first thing in the section to be a displayed equation, then you need to have a line break, so the displayed equation can be in Standard.

I do not think so. Tetx and equation must be treated the same way.

When I opened the file, I did not get an additional newline anywhere.

See the attached files.

The pdf file shows for 1.1 the expected behavior but the equation had to be set as subsection.

2.1 shows the newline before the equation which happens as soon as the equation is set in standard.

Note that there is not point to have an equation in a full math mode in a title (etc..). Only the inline formula mode is acceptable in a title (etc..).

It seems that from the version 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 (linux), a newline cahracter is added after every lines.
How can I avoid it automatically ?

Can you please provide a file (MWE) demonstrating this problem? I certainly have not seen this. Do you mean on export? Or...?
