Well, I always have the user guide, but using the function described on it ratherly I
can get the right solution for the look of non standar classes
LyX is so great for Chapter, Sessions, SubSession and so on...
but I losted a lot of time tring to have good first page
Anyway I would have it with lyx 'cause I don't want to use others word processor and
OpenOffice is too unstable to work on a thesis by now
I am using the file you sent me on lyx1.1.4 but it seems work perfectly thanks a lot
