LyX installation

Hi everybody,

I would like to install LyX onWin NT. I use Cygwin/XFree86 and MikteX,
and all seem to work correctly.
However, everytime I want to start LyX, it asks me for a personnal LyX
folder, and propose me to create one. The problem is I can not enter
into the dialog box, in order to click on Yes.
So could you please tell me, what the personnal LyX Folder is, how
should I name it, and where should I create it.
