I saw only a problem with one citation.
The problem occurs as you place the citation in a wrong position;
  ...was revisited in 1996 by Wang and Zanieski.[the citation]
A correct placing should be before the end of sentence:
  ...was revisited in 1996 by Wang and Zanieski [the citation].

(not the space between the last word and the citation).

You might still have such problems as long citations will not be broken.
One solution is to put \sloppy at the preamble, but the better solution is
to use bibtex (and natbib) instead of using the bibliography layout.
