Hello All,
I am writing my thesis using a class based on book.
I have created an "appendix" at the back by using the environment Chapter*.
The appendix is to contain a few figures in figure floats. I have cross
referenced the figures earlier in the text.
My problem is that the figures in my "appendix" are labelled as
Figure 5.1 , Figure 5.2 etc
where Chapter 5 is the chapter before the "appendix". I guess this is becasue
the Chapter* environment doesn't cause the chapter counter to be incremented.
I would like the figures to be labelled
Figure A.1, Figure A.2 etc
where A indicates the appendix
Does anyone know a way to do this or have any other suggestions
