How can I suppress the printing of the "References" heading on the first page of my references? For PNAS the references just start after a space beneath the body text (smaller font, however). I have gotten the reference fonts down to correct size but don't know how to suppress the heading.
Next, how does one change the font style of the references section? Again, in PNAS, the body text is New Times Roman but paragraph titles and section headings are often sans serif. I can easily change all the required text except for the references heading. For PNAS, I don't want or need the references heading but seeing it as serif while all the other headings were sans serif made me wonder how to go about changing its text style too. praedor
