Hello,
First, is there a package that assists with writing
tests? I'm interested in multiple choice, but even more so, fill in the
blank, short answer, and even essays. This is for a French
class.
But my real question is, is there a way to get
LaTeX to move the line produced by a \rule command to the next line if it's
going to stick out into the margin? I'd like to be able to define a
command (something like \blank) that would put in a line of a given length,
but not give me errors about the line going to far; if it was too far, it should
automatically put it on the next line.
Lastly, is there any way to get the values of
various style parameters such as \baselinestretch? I have a command that
switches to double space, but I'd like to be able to determine the existing
spacing, switch to double spacing, and then switch back to the previous
spacing.
(Thanks for a very useful product; this is for
developers and the user community that make it practical)
Any help is much appreciated!
