This answer is probably better aimed at the developers than yourself. The 1.1.6 ERT insets will load into 1.2.0cvs with a couple of warnings about either a missing tag or a unknown tag. I have occasionally seen some spurious conversions/readings from old to new (or maybe newish to newer with different 1.2.0cvs) where you'll get extra text added mainly in the form of "Standard" probably from a misread or not-ignored paragraph type declaration in the LyX file and in some cases I have seen hard spaces (C-space) turned into ERT insets with a single space in them (weird or what!). Anyway, they do work but you have to check them when moving to a new version. Allan. (ARRae)
