I am new at Lyx.
I seem to have a problem with output to Netscape. I usually have an
instance of Netscape 4.76 running all the time. This may be significant, as
the command line to launch Netscape with a given file to display is
different from the command line to have an already running Netscape
display a new file.
The problem is that when I try to view HTML output from Lyx, Lyx does
its thing, and gets Netscape to fire up a new window for viewing. So
far, so good. Netscape shows up with the name of the document but and
the HTML extension in the location window. There is no path and no
file:// protocol descriptor. I can find the output file somewhere in
my /tmp directory tree, but would rather not. Is there any fix for
this?
Converting from docbook to html
Calling db2html 'bare.metal.sgml'
output is bare.metal
Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/sgml-docbook-3.1.cat
Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6/docbook-utils.dsl#html
Working on: /tmp/lyx_tmpdir32654sJLCJc/lyx_tmpbuf32654Bnc3Gp/bare.metal.sgml
Done.
Executing command: netscape 'bare.metal.html'
