I am afraid mere texhash won't be sufficient, although I am using
probably different distribution of TeX (I have not /etc/texmf here with
tetex on Linux), so my advice may be wrong. But I guess, that the best
way is to use texconfig command (in xterm or on console and as a root;
all applies only if you are on U*ix) and formats.
