Hi! I'm trying to use the abstract package in order to manage one column abstract in a two-column document with Lyx. I downloaded the abstract package from CTAN and i generated the file abstract.sty compiling with latex the file abstract.ins; then I copied abstract.sty in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base. However neither latex nor Lyx are able to find it.... What have i to do, in order to make it reachable?
