Dear Lyxers just to show you what GLyX-Kinder (Glckskinder = lucky children) you are, here a letter of a doc victim:
Dear Wolfgang I am very sorry to have let you wait for a new formatting example. I am herewith attaching "Spectral tuning in biology". I have had a lot of trouble with it. First I had formatted it according to the publishers old instructions. Then they suddenly sent me new instructions, and I had to practically start all over again. The page size was changed (so I had to change size of pictures), the font size and style was changes, and worst of all, the font was changed from Times to Times New Roman. This may appear simple to change, but since I had Greek letters (in my computer this is called font Symbol) I could not change everything at once; but had to change a letter here and there back to Symbol. Then, when I moved the document from a computer with Word 2001 to one with Word 98 the Symbol letters changed back to Times New Roman. Probably many errors of this kind remain....
