Hello Juergen,

just highlight the offending text, choose layout -> character. Under
Language select "reset" and apply. Be sure that alle other options
(family, series, shape, etc) are set to "no change".

The blue underline should be gone.

I don't know why LyX behaves this way, since this happens even when I copy 
and paste between german documents. IIRC this only happend to me under 
the current SuSE 7.3 with my own compiled 1.1.6fix3.
