Hi all,
To submit a paper to a conference I have to use the class file provided
(MSM.cls) which seems to be based on article (at least it uses the
command \LoadClass{article}). Unfortunately I have no idea how class
files are working in detail, cause LyX did every thing for me up until
now.
I tried to do it the following way:
1) Save MSM.cls in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base and do texhash
2) Create a Layoutfile MSM.layout in ~/.lyx/layouts. Here I used the
article.layout file as a template and changed only the second line to
# \DeclareLaTexClass[MSM,article]{MSM}
3) Doing a LyX->Reconfigure gives in the terminal
+checking for document class MSM [MSM, article]... no
Can anybody help me please? What did I do wrong?
