1. Enable keyboard mapping in the preferences dialog, and enter null as
primary keymap, and koi8-r as secondary (or vice versa).

2. In the preferences dialog, change the font to a font that contains Russian
glyphs, and select the correct encoding, e.g. koi8-r (or iso10646-1)

3. Press save in the preferences dialog, and then restart lyx.
Use Alt-k 1/2 to switch between Russian and Latin keymaps.
