What I have done is just installing more than one times until the problem was fixed (that not a good solution)... The question is: - Is your ghostview normal, I mean, gv could view the postscript file? If yes, try to reconfigure lyx. - If not, you should reinstall (better the newest version) of ghostscript). - You can also reinstall the newest version of LyX (1.1.6fix3). I suggest you to update the ghostscript to 6.52 (GNU) or Aladin GS 7.03 and LyX 1.1.6fix3. I have no problem with this combination...$-). Wayan
