To be honest, your document didn't teach me much. I'm a LyX user, with no knowledge of how to operate in LaTeX. I just want to be able to use fonts other than Roman, Sans Serif and Typewriter. Those are the only fonts appearing in the 'Character Style' box.
I have tons of other fonts installed on my system, though it all seems like such a mess right now. And, does all good fonts cost money? Thanks.
