The latest lyx (1.6 fix 3 is what I am using) comes with the llncs.layout and llncs.cls files already installed. I have used these for a couple of LLNCS papers this year and they work fine.
Ok, I have found the files: and they are attached in case you are using an older LyX. (For Mandrake Linux): 1. Put llncs.lyaout into $HOME/.ly/layouts 2. Put the llncs.cls file into /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base 3. as root run texhash 4. as normal user run lyx -x reconfigure 5. check the output from reconfigure in the console and make sure that it has found the llncs layout. 6. Write your paper Pete ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mauro Bardini" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Lyx-Users (E-mail)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, January 22, 2002 5:53 PM Subject: RE: LNCS style > > Yes, just write a LyX layout file (see doc) > > Which one? > > _____________________________________________________________________ > This message has been checked for all known viruses by UUNET delivered > through the MessageLabs Virus Control Centre.
