Hey everyone,

I'm writing a document where I have some very long footnotes. After a
certain number of lines, the footnotes get split, so part of the text is
on the next page. This isn't the behavior I want. What I'd like is the
whole footnote in one page, even if LaTeX thinks that doesn't look good.

How can I go about doing that?

I'm using koma-script book class, one sided.

Question 2:

When I set the margins using the geometry package, there's extra space
at the top. I assume that space is being saved for the header, which I'm
not using. Can I specify the distance between the top/bottom of the page
and the actual text? (not including header/footer space)

TIA,

Roberto
