Have a look at the list archive if you have a www connection,
there has been recently a mail about it (keyword search with eurofont).
basically:
- import font files and styles; run texhash
- \usepackage{eurofont}
- use \euro
Using the iso8859-15 fonts to type it in from the keyboard
is more intricated, I haven't succeeded yet.
