Just joined the list.
Printed out the tutorial and user guide and played with it.
It`s worked really good on some example text I imported and I`m fairly
happy about it on day one...but...
I`ve checked the site a bit but am a bit stick on a basic point.
Creating a standard letter. Quite often (especially in business), you use
the recpients name address in the top left and yours on the top right. A
bit like this :-
recipients name Your name
street address street address
City City
State State
zip zip
I can`t seem to do this in LyX.
I can oly get it to do :-
recipients name
street address
City
State
Zip
Your name
Address
City
State
Zip
Can anyone clue me up on this point, as I would like to LyX to be my
primary, if not only, wordpro. At the moment, I still have to use AbiWord
(I`d use KWord but it is broken when printing in KDE 2.2.1 and I haven`t
upgraded yet).
