hi, I'm trying to write some reports for school. The report layout would be perfect except it precedes chapter headings with the word chapter. I'd like just the numbers. So i use article layout but then it doesn't insert any useful pagebreaks. So I have to insert pagebreaks myself, which is fine. But then when I print it prints the Titlepage as page 1 and numbers it.. I'd want the title page to be page "i" and be unnumbered but listed in the table of contents which would be page "iii" and would be numbered. and then the first page of the actual report be 1.
Anyone know how to go abou this? I'm an ok programmer if picking up TEX and editing some file would help me?? thanks in advance, Aaron [EMAIL PROTECTED]
