I would like to add another bug.
If I use an English template tor a German translation,
i ran into troubles (see my earlier mail `not a lyx-file)

Herbert helped me to find out the problem with the
\lang english
which one can find by looking at the lyx file with a normal text editor.

It turned out that the date in the Title page (I use book style) was the
problem. Apparently the reset of the characters in `layout did not reset the
date. Since it has taken me and -I am afraid- Herbert too, some time to find
out I thought to report it here.
