>From memory, you sometimes get this sort of error is you have a large number of floats that latex hasn't been able to place, which all end up at the end of the document. If that's the case, then the package "morefloats" will increase the number that latex will handle. From the description
" LaTeX can, by default, only cope with 18 outstanding floats; any more, and you get a `too many unprocessed floats' error. This package increases that limit to 36 outstanding floats. However, if you're specifying floats that can't be placed anywhere, the package merely delays the arrival of the error. message." Alternatively, put in a \clearpage between a some of the figures. This forces latex to place the floats. A quick search on google for "tex capacity exceeded" in the groups section shows the following in response to someones question... "it is possible that you are doing something wrong leading to a continuous waste of memory. Thinks like that include multiple loading of packages, loading of unnecessary packages, using float specifications which lead to accumulation of non-processed floats and a few other things. I could glance over your file if oyu sent me a copy in order to check for any obvious things. But it sounds as though your problem might be made not to disturb by simply increasing your main memory size, which with modern implementations of TeX is easy to do."
