Re instability, I've been suffering from instability with LyX and was wondering whether I'm alone in this, I would also like to know how to properly send a bug report, because lyx crashes without any error messages all the time (it can last between 5mins to 30mins!). I am currently using Mandrake 8.1, Xforms 0.88, LyX 1.2.0 Is this problem due to Xforms?? or Lyx?
I must also ask...Why when page style is set to empty why does a number (1) appear on the first page (and after that no numbers at all), if a title is present?, is this a Latex bug a lyx bug or just the way things are supposed to be? (I thought empty meant no numbers...). Note: without the title there is no numbers at all.
