Fine. Now it's time to introduce you to bugzilla.lyx.org which is a very

Good idea actually. Maybe Martin has some time to look into it?

Note that in current 1.3.0cvs in some cases you get a hint in the
minibuffer after you inserted a symbol.

Indeed. And reading books is a fairly common way to teach yourself
something. I'd rather see the resources spend to implement dancing
paper-clips going to decent documentation.
