DOWNLOADS You can download tex2pdf 3.1 from http://download.berlios.de/tex2pdf/tex2pdf-3.1b.tar.gz NEW FEATURES * Support for figures with dots in their filename * Support for multiline TeX tags and embedded TeX tags * Introduced parameter 'lyx_exec' to allow different lyx exec (rc_version=7) * Added .tif to bitmap extension * makeindex options: added parameter makeindex_opts. This allows to pass to makeindex other flags. Similar to pdftex_opts * gloss support: added parameter gloss. It runs bibtex on file.gls to obtain a glossary. It works similar to bibtex parameter * Added support for authorindex. It runs the perl script authorindex to obtain an author index. * ppower suppport: add ppower option flag to postprocess the resulting pdf file with ppower. (ppower4 beta is recommended) * added support for metapost files * added support for multimetapost files * support of gzipped EPS images BUG FIXES A lot of bugs have been fixed. Please after you have installed tex2pdf 3.1, do not forget to run $tex2pdf --configure to be sure that new default parameters are set to proper values FORTHCOMING FEATURES New features are scheduled to be implemented in forthcoming versions of tex2pdf. Several latex packages are claiming for tex2pdf support.
