Hello, LyXers,

I need to make a table that mixes text and figures like
this:

------------------------------
|           | _____  | _____ |
|           ||     | ||     ||
| Some text ||  P1 | ||  P2 ||
|           ||_____| ||_____||
------------------------------
|           | _____  | _____ |
|           ||     | ||     ||
| Some text ||  P1 | ||  P2 ||
|           ||_____| ||_____||
------------------------------
....

And instead I get something like this:

------------------------------
|           | _____  | _____ |
|           ||     | ||     ||
|           ||  P1 | ||  P2 ||
| Some text ||_____| ||_____||
------------------------------
|           | _____  | _____ |
|           ||     | ||     ||
|           ||  P1 | ||  P2 ||
| Some text ||_____| ||_____||
------------------------------

i.e. with the text at the bottom of the cell.

I have tried to give to the first cell/column a fixed width, as suggested
by Herbert Voss in LyX help pages, but to no avail. I shouldn't think it
is so difficult, so my question is, am I loosing something obvious? could
somebody point me in the right track? (I am using LyX 1.1.6 fix4)

TIA

Pedro Tejedor
