Dash attached

Hi,

I am writting a comorian dictionary (bantu language) and I note verbs or adjectives by 
preceding the term by a dash (-) (ex: -renga "to take", -zuri "beautiful"). I am 
trying to figure out how to keep the dash attached to the beginning of the word. The 
software (lyx) automatically separates the two if they happen to come at the end of 
the line.
