Hi.. I'm trying to get a hat (^) over a term which has a subscript.. but
the hat gets moved to the right cos of the subscript and hence it looks
awkward.. I'm trying to write \hat{\Sigma_y}.. is there a way by which
the hat could encompass the entire \Sigma_y, so I guess I'm asking if
it's possible to sort of increase the width of the hat?

Thanks,
nirmal
