Hi, I am quite new to using LyX. So far the transition from windows and Word has been amazing, I am enjoying my work much more and I find that I am much more productive. However, one problem crept up today - I have a large number of pdf files which have diagrams in them, and I need to use those diagrams. Now using acrobat I am able to select the diagram and copy it. In windows I used to just paste the picture directly into Word, but now I am stumped as to how to do it. I tried to select, then copy, and then paste into Image Magick, and that does not work. I tried to paste into GIMP, that does not work either.
I am sure that there is a way to do this, I just can't work out how. Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to do this, I really need to import those figures into LyX. Is there a program I should download, or is there a technique I don't know about? Thanks, Vlad. P.S.
