remove T1 font encoding.

Hi,

I need to work on a latex system without T1 support. As a result, if I 
pdflatex a lyx generated tex file, I will get lots of error messages, 
unless I explicitly remove the line
  \usepackage[T1]{fontenc}

Is there a way to tell lyx not to use T1 font encoding?
