When I try to hi-lite text using a standard mouse, LyX scrolls too fast. For example, I have a paragraph at the bottom of the page. I want to hi-lite this paragrah, and the three below. I hi-lite the paragraph I can see, and then drag the mouse past the bottom of the window. But the text jumps so fast, I am 10 or 15 paragraphs down.
I checked the archives and google, and couldn't find any hits for this problem. Do I need to change something in my .Xauthority file? I also realized that there is a buffer at the bottom of LyX that works like emacs. However, being a vim person, I don't know how this works, and also couldn't find any documentation on it. This seemingly small problem is quite big. Right now I can't hi-lite the text I want. Thanks Paul -- ************************ *Paul Tremblay * *[EMAIL PROTECTED]* ************************
