Hi,
I recently installed Lyx 1.2.1 using the source-rpm available from
ftp.lyx.org on a RedHat-8.0-System.
Apparently, there is a problem concerning the german special characters. I
can use them in the text and the dvi-output produces them correctly, but
they are not displayed correctly in the menubar etc. Furthermore, the dvi-file
does not show the special characters correctly in formulas and in the
bibtex-reference.
I can only guess that it has maybe something to do with the
character-encoding? I think RedHat 8.0 uses UTF-8.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve that problem?
