Hi,

I am using some graphs that I have made in Excel. The way I get them
into LyX is to, while still in Windows, paste them into Photoshop, and
then save them as an image (I have tried eps, bmp, jpg). Then, in Linux,
I insert them in a figure float as normal. in LyX the image looks great.
However, when I view it in DVI or PDF, the image gets very blurry, and
gets some weird red tinge around the edges. This happens regardless of
the format of the image. This effect stays on the page even while printing.

However when I view it as a PostScript, there is no red tinge and no
fuzziness. What is going on, I need to be able to save the file as a
PDF, and I can't do that if I am getting that weird red tinge around the
image.

Thanks,
Vlad.
