So, in my desire to have ctrl-d delete like I'm used to, I switched to emacs mode.
I didn't read the documentation thoroughly enough as I didn't realize that switching to emacs mode would reduce my ability to use lyx quite THIS much. For example, it appear to be an irreversable selection, and a final one, as all options for configuration simply disappear after emacs mode is slected. and help- while admittedly not something we like to admit to using- is just not available in any emacs style form. Nor is *it* in the menu system up top on the menu bar. I'm a bit confused as to how to get out of this. But you *won't* win. I will not start using vi by choice because of this :) -Christof Koyote Oi!Oi!Oi!
