-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have run into a difficulty working within Lyx a lot of late. In trying to do some cutting and pasting within lyx, it is often impossible to do unless done with little snippets of text at a time, perhaps 5 lines or so. If a figure that I want to cut and paste runs off the bottom and/or top of the screen, it is particularly problematic. The problem is that as soon as the cursor reaches the boundary of the current lyx text window, it scrolls at insane speed, quickly shooting far beyond the end of the text that I need to cut and paste. I have just come from a situation in which I was trying to cut and paste several adjacent figures and their legends, for instance, and trying to simply do one of them led to text highlighting shooting within seconds to the end of the document from nearly the start. The scrolling behavior in lyx is overly sensitive and unusable for most large cut-and-paste jobs.
Would it be possible to slow down lyx's scrolling behavior when one's cursor hits the edge of the text screen so that it is possible to actually cut-and-paste whatever (text, figures, tables) that extend beyond the visable window? praedor - -- Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor...the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded with patriotism, will offer up all their rights unto the leader and gladly so. --unknown -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9tVXQ1i/6R1B/Yh0RAsWcAJ4mvcFR8/6MwMRDAWkQH88zRkMe+wCfdclq GF8+QuWI/AEnKliu9k8MJ40= =nGoC -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
