I am looking to get a template or two running in lyx 1.2.1. I have a very general question of how these things work in lyx (i.e. do you just copy the text file into some directory somewhere such in .lyx directory). Second, I see that the textcomp.lyx file is for 1.1.6. Are there any specific issues I will face getting it working in 1.2.1?
