Okay so it's supposed to be "mini".. but it doesn't naturally imply that a half-page, for example, can't start at 3/4th (from the top) of one page and end at 1/4th of the next right? Anyways, I understand that's how Latex does it but maybe sometime in the future LyX could try to allow the option of wrapping across pages..
The reason why I wanted to find out if I could do this is cos of the previous problem I had with nesting.. you'd replied: > start the description line as usual and then insert a minipage > with a vertical alignment of "top". In the minipage write your > itemize lines So I did that but my itemize environment was too long to fit on a page... so now I have a lot of empty space on one page and the minipage starts on the next... I can send you an example file if you'd like to take a look.. Thanks for the help.. nirmal
