I am again glady suprised about the quick and helpful answers that one can get in this forum.
Only this I did not understand. Sounds to me like there is a user.bind file that lyx creats according to your (personalized) shortcut settings, where one could look up and change everything quickly. But as I don't need no more shortcut (by now) I go on typing now. But thanks! :-)Looks like your .bind files are broken...
BTW: I am a windows user who uses lyx on a linuxServer (via xterm). So I have probably no access to all the configSettings...
