You could try the following in the preamble. It is from my thesis which I wrote
in the report class. I don't know enough latex to tell you whether it is class
specific or will work in your case, but give it a go!

%+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
% This part puts a sentence on a blank page
\makeatletter
\def\cleardoublepage{\clearpage\if@twoside \ifodd\c@page\else
  \hbox{}
  \vspace*{\fill}
  \begin{center}
  \fbox{ This page intentionally contains only this sentence. }
  \end{center}
  \vspace{\fill}
  \thispagestyle{empty} \newpage
  \if@twocolumn\hbox{}\newpage\fi\fi\fi}
\makeatother

If you don't like the sentence then just replace it with a space.

Regards
Rob
