Preamble page numbering

I'm writting a theses and lyx works wonderfull.  My problem is that roman numbering is 
giving me uppercase roman letters in preamble pages, up to the command 
\pagenumbering{arabic}

Any idea how to get the right case in roman numbering?

I already tried roman, Roman and gives the same result.

I'm using report class, under Lyx 1.2.2 and cygwin/Win Me
