This is the third prerelease of LyX 1.3.0. The first and second prerelase did not have too many problems so it is hoped that this prerelease will be more or less equal to the final release.
Howerver as with all preleases and new version of a program, you should backup your documents before trying it out. If not you might have problems going back to an earlier version if so desired. Please report all installation and execution problems to [EMAIL PROTECTED] So that we can try to get it fixed before 1.3.0 final.
